Position Overview
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with Flawsome Counseling, you will provide therapeutic services to a diverse client population while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own schedule and caseload. Therapists have the opportunity to conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy services in a supportive private practice setting.
This role is ideal for clinicians seeking independence, flexibility, and a collaborative practice environment without productivity quotas or mandated scheduling requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy services utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support client goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and ethical clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Communicate professionally with clients, referral sources, and other healthcare providers as clinically appropriate.
- Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and consultation opportunities.
Compensation & Schedule
This position is structured as a 1099 Independent Contractor role.

Compensation is based on a competitive percentage of collected billable services, with opportunities for increased earnings as your caseload grows.

Qualifications
- Active Iowa license as an LISW, LMHC, or LMFT in good standing.
- Experience providing therapy services to individuals, couples, and/or families.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Knowledge of ethical standards and clinical documentation requirements.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
