POSITION SUMMARY
The Front Office Coordinator at Flawless Smile Dentistry is a key member of the team, working with providers and patients to make sure that the patients are seen. This role is responsible for making sure that providers have patients returning and giving them an amazing experience. The Front Office Coordinator is responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, and confirming appointments.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
- Greeting patients upon arrival
- Call and confirm all upcoming DR/HYG appointments
- Paperwork updates; HIPAA, health history for upcoming appointments
- Verifying Insurance for patients
- Keep a log of cancellations and communicate these with treatment coordinators, who will call patients to fill these spots.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Understand how WP, MTC, and Downgrades apply to route slips and treatment
- Be able to update fees if changes with insurance
- Understand A/R and adjust accounts accordingly

- Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment with competing priorities
- Ability to engage with patients, providers, and team members building professional relationships

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
- 1 year of dental experience (preferred)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Requires ability to occasionally lift up to 25lbs
- Position may require travel to and from field sites to monitor the status of multiple projects
