We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a range of nail services, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
- Perform manicure and pedicure services, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application.
- Provide additional beauty services such as body waxing, eyelash extensions, and hair threading as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in accordance with health regulations.
- Upsell products and services to enhance client experiences and meet sales goals.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to offer clients innovative options.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate services or products.
- Assist in retail sales by promoting nail care products and other beauty items available in the salon.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive work environment and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- Valid nail technician license as required by state regulations.
- Proficiency in nail care techniques including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gel nails, and nail art.
- Familiarity with color theory to assist clients in selecting suitable nail colors.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in a salon or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate.
