Job Description:

Summary

  • Strong B2B experience
  • Order entry, tracking, and communication with customers
  • Great communication skills working with sales, production, purchasing, and other business functions
  • Manufacturing background extremely helpful
  • Strong technical ability to learn custom software

Process orders received; reviewing for accuracy of pricing, codes and nomenclature

  • Confirm orders, along with all pertinent information, to customer in timely manner
  • Provide customers with accurate updates on order status, ensuring expectations are set clearly
  • Address customer concerns and complaints; initiating an internal case to capture details when necessary and bringing case to resolution
  • Organized and able to multi-task / prioritize to ensure workload is being managed successfully and accurately
  • Efficiently and professionally responds to customer and Account Manager inquiries
  • Decipher and distribute requests to the appropriate internal departments
  • Communicate efficiently with the off-site corporate office contacts
  • Set-up customers to access our Web Portal to retrieve available documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred
  • 2 years prior customer care experience preferred; Flavor or Fragrance industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn order processing and data management software
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
  • Must be highly customer focused
  • Ability to handle customers in difficult situations
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Ability to process simple math transactions in various units of measure
