At Flatrock, care goes beyond clinical support—we create a community centered on growth, independence, and belonging. Our teams work closely with each resident to build personalized care plans that promote confidence, life skills, and meaningful progress in everyday life.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee core finance operations across multiple entities while leading and developing a small, high-impact team. Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 6–7 across AP, AR, payroll, billing, and accounting
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities (including Flatrock and affiliated organizations)
  • Own financial reporting, analysis, and the accuracy/timeliness of month-end close
  • Review AR/AP aging, identify issues, and drive resolution across the team
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and financial requirements (including HIPAA-related financial data handling where applicable)
  • Partner closely with executive leadership to communicate financial performance, identify risks, and improve operational efficiency
  • Assess current processes and implement structure, accountability, and improved workflows across the finance function

Must Have Qualifications

  • 8 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong hands-on experience with financial reporting, analysis, and month-end close
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically—comfortable rolling up your sleeves as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA preferred but not required

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare, human services, or multi-entity environments
  • Strong understanding of compliance, financial controls, and audit readiness
  • Ability to step into a team that needs clear leadership and direction
  • Strong communicator who can align teams and drive performance

Benefits include:

  • Health Insurance
  • 401k with 5% match
  • Short-term & long-term disability
  • Life Insurance
