What You Will Be Doing

• Works closely with the field support team to assure timely jobsite setups.
• Provides technical guidance to the field support team and help desk.
• Maintains, configures, and operates Windows servers, network infrastructure, and virtualization.
• Creates documentation, system diagrams, and knowledgebase articles.
• Supports and configures Active Directory infrastructure, including group policy, OU structure, account management, security, etc.
• Evaluates and installs patches, firmware updates, system updates, etc. for IT systems.
• Helps to create, maintain, and improve IT system configuration standards.
• Schedules and coordinates server and network hardware maintenance windows with field support team.
• Researches and evaluates new technologies and makes recommendations to management.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical related field from an accredited institution preferred.
• 2 years related experience required.
• Intermediate knowledge of network/server administration (2 years) in a medium-sized, distributed environment (500 users, 10-15 company locations); installing and maintaining Windows operating systems (2 years) on server class hardware
• Network administration and troubleshooting experience (firewalls, routers, switches, APs); Microsoft Active Directory administration; Windows Server administration; O365 administration; monitoring systems; scripting and automation
• System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, VMWare, IT security, or network related fields are a plus.
