Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nursing Faculty member based in Kalispell, MT. Responsibilities include teaching nursing courses, developing and updating curriculum, mentoring students, and maintaining academic excellence through evaluation and innovations in course delivery. Additionally, the role involves active participation in departmental activities, collaboration with colleagues, and commitment to supporting student success in both classroom and clinical settings. Faculty members are expected to stay engaged with developments in the nursing field and support college initiatives.
Qualifications
- Expertise in nursing education, including designing and delivering courses in alignment with academic and professional standards.
- Clinical experience in nursing practice and the ability to supervise students in clinical settings effectively.
- Strong communication, mentorship, and collaboration skills to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, assessment, and use of modern teaching technology.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, eligible for an unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Montana (or current RN license with eligibility for MT licensure).
- A commitment to lifelong learning, diversity, and fostering an inclusive educational environment.
- College-level teaching experience in nursing education is preferred.
