We're looking for an energetic, hands-on leader who takes pride in building an outstanding team and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of Flat Tire Lounge. This person will oversee daily operations, lead and develop staff, maintain exceptional customer service, manage inventory and finances, drive sales through events and promotions, and ensure the business runs smoothly every day.
This isn't a desk job. We're looking for someone who leads from the floor, jumps in wherever needed, and treats the business like it's their own.
ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
- Hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team
- Create staff schedules and manage labor costs
- Foster a positive, accountable workplace culture
- Conduct performance evaluations and address employee issues professionally
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives exceptional service
- Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment
- Build relationships with regular guests while creating a welcoming experience for new visitors
Operations
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures
- Maintain food and beverage quality standards
- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
- Minimize waste and control costs
- Ensure compliance with health, liquor, and safety regulations
- Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs as needed
Financial Management
- Monitor sales, labor, and food & beverage costs
- Analyze financial reports and identify opportunities for improvement
- Meet revenue and profitability goals
Marketing & Events
- Help plan and execute promotions, live entertainment, tournaments, and special events
- Collaborate on social media and community engagement
- Look for creative ways to increase traffic and guest loyalty
Qualifications
We're more interested in finding the right leader than checking every box, but ideal candidates will have:
- Previous management experience in hospitality, restaurants, bars, or retail
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and budgeting
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
