Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in a hybrid full-time role. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain general ledger and financial records
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Coordinate with external accountants and tax professionals
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions
- Assist with inventory and cost tracking (retail experience a plus)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 3 years of accounting experience (retail or small business experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
