Flanagan’s Social House is a neighborhood gathering spot where great food, cold drinks, sports, and good company come together. From weekday lunches and happy hour to dinner and game-day excitement, we’re building a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax, connect, and enjoy the experience. With a focus on soccer and sports in general, we’re looking for energetic, friendly servers who enjoy working with people and being part of a team.

Position Overview

We are looking for dependable, customer-focused Servers to join our team. The ideal candidate is outgoing, attentive, and able to provide excellent service in a fast-paced restaurant and bar environment. Our servers play an important role in creating a great guest experience, building relationships with regular customers, and encouraging guests to return.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Explain menu items, make food and beverage recommendations, and answer guest questions.
• Accurately take and enter food and drink orders.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, promotions, and drink offerings.
• Check on guests throughout their visit and address concerns professionally.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked tables and service areas.
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen staff, and fellow servers.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Help create an energetic, welcoming atmosphere during lunch, happy hour, dinner, and sporting events.
• Assist with opening, closing, side work, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant serving experience preferred; we are willing to consider motivated candidates who are eager to learn.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and sporting events as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food and beverage trays.
• Required alcohol service certification, if applicable under local law.
