Responsibilities
- Safely handle and transport food from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring dishes are presented beautifully and accurately.
- Verify orders against tickets to ensure correct items are delivered promptly to guests.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet presentation standards.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems to coordinate timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including bussing tables and clearing used dishes efficiently.
- Support the kitchen team by assisting with food safety practices and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling, plating, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Knowledge of banquet service, bussing, or hotel hospitality experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential for success in this role.
