Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Prepare and serve drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS transactions with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, dining space, and service stations
- Assist with food presentation, serving dishes promptly in fine dining or banquet settings
- Support catering events or nightclub functions by providing excellent service in dynamic environments
- Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining, banquet, or nightclub settings preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; retail math skills are a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts with multiple responsibilities
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions
- Familiarity with beverage preparation including brewing or bartending techniques is desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Basic understanding of the food industry trends and hospitality best practices
