Position: Freight Coordinator & Supply Chain

Freight Analyst Job Responsibilities:

The Freight Coordinator & Supply Chain is responsible for working with brokers and carriers to move LTL and Full Truckload freight as well as other related duties including but not limited to the following:

Essential Functions:

· Work with existing brokers/carriers to negotiate rates based on number of pallets to be transported.

· Review and approve freight bills.

· Maintain load information in excel spreadsheets.

· Build relationships with current brokers/carriers and manage these partnerships for a successful partnership.

· Identify new brokers/carriers relationships and build and manage these relationships for a successful partnership.

· Manage issues including damage product and cargo, over shortages, and late shipments.

· Communicate issues to internal staff and customers in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

· The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of freight experience.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

· Excellent organizational and time management skills along with strong attention to detail are required.

· The successful candidate will have a positive and professional demeanor and the ability to communicate and interact well with others.

• Experience with excel, word and access is required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations is helpful.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.31 per hour
