Branch Operations Specialist

The Specialist provides support to branch personnel and internal employees through email, phone, and on-site branch visits. Specialists serve as a key point of contact for new account document verification, branch audit support, new hire training support, and day-to-day operational assistance. Primary areas of focus include new account verification and maintenance, document review, procedure development and branch audits.

1.      Conduct detailed reviews of new customer records for accuracy and completeness.

2.      Perform comprehensive inspections of new consumer and business accounts, including system and document verification.

3.      Review account maintenance requests and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

4.      Track, monitor, and report errors, exceptions, and trends identified during reviews.

5.      Provide operational and procedural support to assigned branches.

6.      Complete research requests as needed to support branch and operational inquiries.

7.      Assist with ATM operational functions, including currency ordering, replenishment entries, and reconciliation verification.

8.      Support debit card and ACH unauthorized dispute processing, including provisional credit processing and investigation correspondence.

9.      Assist in the development, documentation, and maintenance of procedures related to assigned duties.

10.  Collaborate with team members to ensure all processes and services are completed accurately and within established timeframes.

11.  Perform all other related duties as assigned.

12.  Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as all bank policies and procedures.

13.  Provide ongoing branch training based on verification results, audit findings, and identified risk areas.

·        High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

·        Minimum of three (3) years of retail banking experience.

·        Two (2) years of branch operations, document verification, or related banking experience preferred.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
