What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery, and Greenhouse position at Flagler Aerial Spraying?
Gerneral farm work, such as: Record information about crops, such as fertilizer use, yields, or costs. Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and treatment of fertilizer or crops. Clean and maintain equipment, work areas and grounds. Maintain inventory, ordering materials as required. Handle loading and offloading of materials. Carry out drop-offs. Operate forklift, on occasion. Examine and inspect ag containers, materials, or products to ensure that product quality and specifications are met. Measure, weigh, and count ag products and materials. Record ag product, packaging, and other information on specified forms and records. Drive to town to pickup supplies, on occasion.
Employer will abide by all of Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and any subsequent Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Orders (COMPS order) .
Effective 1/1/25, overtime must be paid after 48 hours worked per week, or 56 hours worked per week for up to 22 "peak weeks" for highly seasonal employers.
