How Will Your Days Be Spent

• Responsible for leadership, mentoring, and coordination of project team members and consultants from project inception through completion, and for representing the firm to the client.
• Manage client expectations and involve them in establishing project design, scope, goals, and measurements.
• In coordination with other team members and consultants, implement design requirements through documentation and construction, maintaining design intent and ensuring the technical quality, organization, and content of project documents.
• Responsible for developing the project fees and contracts during the planning phase and establishing the project schedule, budget, staffing, and profitability during the start-up phase.
• Articulate and communicate the client's vision, goals, and objectives through development of the project work plan during the planning phase, ensuring they are understood by all team members and consultants.
• Coordinate response to client questions and concerns, and follow up regularly with the client.
• Responsible for participating in and leading client presentations, conducting internal project team meetings, and leading technical and consultant meetings.
  
  

Experience

What you bring to this role

• Minimum of ten years of architectural experience with at least five years of recent Project Architect experience and at least two years of recent project management experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and working on large-scale projects required.
• Experience with one of Flad's market segments preferred.
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills required.
• Proven success in client management and leadership required.

• Revit proficiency required.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD preferred.
  
  

Education

• Professional degree in architecture required.
• Professional registration required.
• Sustainability accreditation preferred.

Annual base salary range is currently: $120,000 - $180,000. Actual starting salary will be within that range, and is dependent upon job-related education, knowledge, and experience.
