How Will Your Days Be Spent
- Recruit for specific positions in various offices. Handle all aspects of the recruiting lifecycle from position description through the offer.
- Collaborate with hiring managers and Human Resources to understand role requirements and ideal candidate profiles.
- Foster an exceptional candidate experience, communicating regularly with applicants, providing clear information, and setting expectations at each stage.
- Continually source new recruitment methods to build a pipeline of qualified active and passive candidates.
- Enhance Flad’s social media and online recruitment footprint.
- Assist the Human Resources team with research, resume review, scheduling interviews, reference checks, etc.
- Act as designated back-up for conducting new employee orientation.
What you bring to this role
- Minimum of three years of full-lifecycle recruiting experience required.
- Experience recruiting for multiple positions simultaneously across a variety of locations preferred.
- Previous architectural firm experience preferred.
- Good working knowledge of employment law, recruiting trends, and best practices.
- Ability to effectively work with team members and manage multiple demands. Strong attention to detail, proven organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to adjust to shifting priorities and/or deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including in-person and virtual conversations.
- Availability during Flad’s business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. is required. Must be able to work in the Madison office Tuesday through Thursday each week.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel required. Working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and applicant tracking system experience preferred.
- Knowledge of social media sites and other online sourcing platforms and recruiting methods preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field required.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
