Overview
We are seeking a quality-oriented part-time CNC Parts Cleaning Technician to clean, inspect, and prepare precision-machined components for the next stage of production or shipment. This role plays an important part in ensuring our products meet quality and cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial parts washing equipment following established procedures.
- Load and unload machined parts into washers, baskets, and fixtures.
- Clean and inspect parts for cleanliness, damage, burrs, and machining residue.
- Maintain proper part identification and traceability throughout the process.
- Perform routine equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance.
- Complete production documentation accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper PPE use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
- Support production teams as needed.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and production paperwork.
- Comfortable working with industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to identify defects or contamination on machined components.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone who is reliable, extremely detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
