Role Description The Cleaner is responsible for performing high-quality residential cleaning services for FixyFix customers in the New York City Metropolitan Area. Day-to-day tasks include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, surface sanitizing, trash removal, and organizing common living spaces. The role involves following customer instructions, using cleaning products safely, and maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor in every home. The Cleaner will manage time effectively to complete scheduled jobs, report any issues to the FixyFix team, and uphold company standards for cleanliness and customer satisfaction. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
Qualifications
- Strong residential cleaning skills, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and surface sanitizing.
- Ability to follow checklists, customer instructions, and safety procedures for cleaning products and equipment.
- Good time management and organizational skills to handle multiple jobs and meet scheduled appointments.
- Professional communication skills to interact respectfully with customers and coordinate with the FixyFix support team.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent quality and cleanliness standards.
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work full-time and travel within the New York City Metropolitan Area.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the workday.
- Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Comfort using a mobile app to receive job details, updates, and communicate with the FixyFix platform.
