Responsibilities
- Complete general repairs and maintenance in customers’ homes and offices.
- Mount TVs, install shelves, hang pictures, and install curtain rods.
- Assemble furniture and perform minor carpentry, patching, and touch-up work.
- Assess the requested work and communicate any changes before proceeding.
- Arrive on time, treat customers professionally, and respect their property.
- Use the FixyFix app to accept jobs, check in and out, and document completion.
- Follow FixyFix’s service standards and leave each work area clean and organized.
- Only accept work you are qualified and properly equipped to perform.
Qualifications
- Previous professional handyman or home repair experience.
- Your own tools appropriate for the jobs you accept.
- Ability to travel to customer locations within your selected service areas.
- A smartphone to manage jobs through the FixyFix app.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and reliable time management.
- Completion of registration, background screening, and payment setup before accepting jobs.
