What are the responsibilities and job description for the SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST I position at FIXTURES INTERNATIONAL?
Undertakes administrative job duties as it pertains to the sales department. Utilizes skills to make certain that all sales people have the proper information to do their job. Meets with sales employees to make new plans regarding sales or how to improve the job. Help with walk-in and telephone customers.
Sales Support Job Duties:
- Answers phone calls from customers and deals with problems as they arise
- Takes sales information and puts it into an easily readable format
- Follows up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a particular product
- Makes sure that material necessary to complete the jobs have been ordered
- Helps sales team with sourcing material necessary to complete orders
- Provides any necessary data or reports to the sales team
- Exerts attention to detail; reports the problems as necessary
- Acknowledges customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls
- Updates all contact information for clients
- Arranges travel, accommodations and labor help for any installers as needed
- Does any necessary administrative work, including filing, data entry, and transcription
- Check stock and pull orders as needed
- Must be able to lift boxes up to 35 pounds
