Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Axiom Developers to join one of our exciting projects in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with the AxiomSL platform, strong knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks, and advanced SQL development skills. This is a full-time, onsite role offering the opportunity to work on mission-critical financial reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the AxiomSL platform to support regulatory reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, compliance teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Build, optimize, and maintain data models, ETL processes, and reporting templates within AxiomSL.
- Develop and fine-tune SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III, CCAR, FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, and other US regulatory reporting standards.
- Perform data quality checks, reconciliations, and validations to ensure accuracy and completeness of reports.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and reporting processes for audit and compliance purposes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of AxiomSL with upstream and downstream systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-7 years of experience as an Axiom Developer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in AxiomSL ControllerView platform (configuration, data mapping, report building).
- Solid understanding of regulatory reporting requirements in the US financial services domain.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL development (complex queries, performance tuning, stored procedures).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, ETL tools, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Knowledge of financial products, balance sheet, and risk reporting is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Buffalo, NY and collaborate effectively with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Basel III, CCAR, Liquidity Reporting (LCR/NSFR), and other regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or other automation tools for data processing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure) for hosting regulatory reporting solutions.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services industry.
