Position: Senior Angular Developer
Location: Buffalo, NY (On-site from day1)

Position Overview

We are seeking an extremely strong, hands-on Angular Developer with 8 years of professional experience to take end-to-end ownership of the application's UI/frontend workstream.

This is a pure Angular/UI-focused position. The ideal candidate must have deep, hands-on experience with modern Angular and the latest stable Angular version, and be capable of taking business requirements and independently converting them into high-quality, production-ready UI code.

The developer will own the frontend/UI implementation, track UI work through JIRA, write and maintain unit test cases, manage source code through GitLab, and work closely with a separate backend team responsible for Python-based microservices and APIs.

Experience with AI-assisted development and GitLab Duo is a plus.

Required Qualifications

·       8 years of professional software/web development experience.

·       Extremely strong, hands-on Angular experience.

·       Strong experience with the latest stable versions of Angular and modern Angular development practices.

·       Deep understanding of Angular application architecture.

·       Strong experience with Angular components, services, routing, forms, validation, dependency injection, and lifecycle management.

·       Proven ability to convert requirements directly into production-quality Angular code.

·       Strong experience building enterprise-scale Angular applications.

·       Strong HTML and CSS skills for professional UI development.

·       Experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs.

·       Experience working with backend teams and microservices-based applications.

·       Strong experience creating and maintaining Angular unit tests.

·       Hands-on experience with JIRA.

·       Hands-on experience with GitLab, including merge requests and collaborative development.

·       Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

·       Demonstrated ability to independently own and deliver UI work from requirements through production.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Experience with GitLab Duo or similar AI-powered developer tools.

·       Experience using AI for code generation and unit-test generation.

·       Experience integrating Angular applications with Python-based microservices.

·       Experience with Angular Material or other Angular UI component libraries.

·       Experience with automated UI testing.

·       Experience with GitLab CI/CD.

·       Experience with enterprise application development.

·       Experience mentoring other Angular developers.

·       Experience modernizing applications to newer Angular versions.

Salary : $120,000 - $125,000
