• Maintain landscape features through pruning, tree trimming, shrub shaping, and plant care to promote growth and aesthetics.
• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently and safely for planting and maintenance projects.
• Use power tools including trimmers, blowers, and excavators to complete landscaping tasks with precision.
• Install hardscape elements like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds to enhance outdoor functionality.
• Conduct irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure proper watering of lawns and gardens.
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Assist with construction projects related to landscape design or renovation under supervision.
• Apply horticultural knowledge to select appropriate plants for specific environments and seasons.
• Provide tree care services such as planting, trimming, or removal while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Experience

• Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscape maintenance is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques, gardening practices, and landscape maintenance routines is beneficial.
• Ability to operate construction machinery such as excavators or other land-moving equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health management enhances your effectiveness in the role.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures when handling power tools and heavy machinery is essential.
