Pay Range: $22 – $25 (rate offered will be commensurate with experience)

We are seeking someone who has a minimum of a High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience working in a manufacturing or production related environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and its application to machine tools, specifically grinding machines. Ability to use a wide variety of hand power, and air tools. At Fives we all have a part to play in achieving our common purpose. Your role will be to:
- Assemble complex grinding machines and mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and written and verbal instructions to accurately build machines, sub-assemblies, hydraulic piping, and component hookups.
- Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, overhead cranes, and rigging equipment in accordance with safety standards and departmental procedures.
- Inspect parts and completed work to identify defects, verify quality specifications, and distinguish between various mechanical and hydraulic components.
- Complete required production, quality, and documentation forms to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement.
