We are seeking a full-time Logistics Sales employee for our Elgin, IL location working Monday – Friday, generally 7 am – 4 pm or 8 am – 5 pm. This is an in-office role.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their logistics needs and providing tailored solution
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth within assigned territories
• Conduct thorough assessments of client supply chain and logistics requirements to recommend appropriate services and solutions
• Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and pricing as necessary.
• Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and marketing, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Skills Required:

o Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

o Exceptional work ethic and ability to work as a team player

o Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.

o Knowledge within the logistics and trucking industry

o Adaptability and time management – prioritizing workload.

o Keen attention to detail

Preferred Education/Experience:

o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and logistics experience.

o Prior experience in logistics preferred.

o 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role.

o Advanced knowledge using Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite.
