Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for implementing age-appropriate curriculum and engaging activities that promote learning through play. You will work closely with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive educational experience for all students. Will work as a floater helping do breaks and stepping into classrooms as needed! Looking for someone who wants to be a part of a wonderful team of early childhood educators.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Utilize Montessori methods and other educational approaches to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational program that meets the needs of all students.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Familiarity with curriculum development techniques tailored for preschool-aged children.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds.
