We are seeking a Refreshments Retail Team Manager to lead and develop a team of Retail Team Managers, Merchandisers, and Location Attendants in providing best-in-class retail operations and customer satisfaction. This role serves as a key link between Five Star and our clients, ensuring strong partnerships, operational excellence, and customer retention. The Retail Team Manager is responsible for overseeing multi-site route operations, driving merchandising and promotional initiatives, analyzing financial performance, and cultivating a culture of accountability, safety, and service excellence across all assigned locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly supervise retail and vending route staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions while fostering open communication and a collaborative team environment.

• Maintain strong client relationships through regular visits, prompt issue resolution, and support of sales activities such as presentations, grand openings, and trade shows.

• Execute and oversee plan-o-gram compliance, new market installations, merchandising, promotional activities, and location inspections to ensure company standards are consistently met.

• Review daily and weekly retail financial reports to monitor sales, control labor costs, manage spoilage rates, ensure billing accuracy, and identify opportunities to increase revenue.

• Manage replenishment, inventory levels, and service frequencies across retail locations, warehouse, and fleet to maximize sales productivity while controlling overtime and ensuring proper handling of perishable goods.

• Enforce a safe working environment by communicating safety policies, overseeing fleet maintenance, managing building upkeep, and escalating any information that could impact account retention or business continuity.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Must be able to consent to a drug screen and pre-employment background check.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the route.

• Must be 21 to meet DOT requirements.
