Position Description
The Team Lead will help ensure the visiting public has ahigh-quality and safe experience. This position will assist with the day-to-day activities of Five Rivers MetroParks RiverScape rental and concession operations.
Duties/Responsibilities
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Oversees the operations of the RiverScape MetroPark concessions, retail sales, and equipment rentals.
Assists with planning daily assignments and securing the equipment and tools needed by site crew to satisfactorily complete assignments.
Responsible for reconciling the cash draws for the RiverScaperental and concession operations.
Perform and coordinate the preventive maintenance on skates, locker, sand other rental equipment. Assist with maintaining records related to the operation of RiverScape businesses.
Works with contractors, partners, food concession operators, and MetroParks staff to accomplish the goals of the organization.
Serves as lead and has functional supervision over assigned staff.
Maintains public relations with customers, volunteers, user groups and general public, and responds appropriately to their concerns and complaints.
Assists with sales of ice rink rentals, season passes, and helps support ice rink programming.
Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance, and works outside of normal schedule as required.
Additional Responsibilities
Provides input into marketing efforts for the Ice Rink, including social and electronic media, and development of promotions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises a site crew when assigned. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Plans and delegates work assignments, trains employees, provides guidance and resolves work issues, and ensures work complies with policy and performance standards.
Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A combination of appropriate education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is:
High School Diploma
Three years of experience in retail, food services, alcohol sales, or other closely related fields.
Willingness and ability to work an irregular schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Prior Supervisory Experience Is Preferred.
Must be 21 years or older (requirement to oversee alcohol sales)
