What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Banking Relationship Specialist position at FIVE POINTS BANK?
Essential Functions:
- Contact prospective customers to present information and explain available products and services
- Determine whether the customer has a need for the products and services the bank provides
- Prepare forms or agreements to complete sales
- Follow up on leads from loan officers and tellers
- In coordination with the marketing department, place sales ads to promote the products
- Complete implementation process for the products sold
- Setting the customer up with remote deposit at their place of business
- Educate customers on how to use the products
- Provide customer service to business customers following the implementation/set up
- Assist Internet Banking/Cash Management position in the set-up of the cash management products
- Work with the tech department on any technical difficulties with the products themselves or a problem the customer may be experiencing
- Responsible for NFS report and determinations
- Explain bank services and charges to customers
- Overdraft Review
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
- Banking experience with extensive training in the banking industry, rules and regulations
- Experience using Excel, Word and Outlook software
- Time Management
- Mathematics – using mathematics to solve problems
- Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate
- Ability to work and solve client problems with minimal direct supervision
- Communication Skills – The ability to communicate effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Education/Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3 years of Retail Banking Experience which includes opening accounts, customer service and cash handling
- Extensive training in the banking industry, rules and regulations
- Management experience preferred
