Introduction:
Join our team at Oral and Facial Surgery Center! We are looking for a friendly, organized, and experienced dental front office professional to manage our day-to-day front desk operations.
This role is the first point of contact for our patients, so we’re looking for someone who is confident, personable, and comfortable handling scheduling, insurance, and patient communication in a dental setting.
Responsibilities:
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
• Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience
• Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and billing information
• Check patients in/out and ensure all required documentation is completed
• Calculate insurance benefits and collect co-pays/treatment payments
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA
• Coordinate with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Keep the front office and reception area organized and presentable
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Dental front office experience required (oral surgery experience a plus)
• Strong understanding of insurance verification, co-pays, and treatment estimates
• Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar) preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
