Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining safety and security protocols. This role requires a keen sense of observation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. A background in law enforcement or security is preferred.
Duties
- Greet guests and visitors with a friendly demeanor, providing assistance as needed.
- Scan IDs using an ID scanner and mark individuals upon entry.
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify any suspicious activity.
- Manage conflicts and resolve issues that may arise with guests or visitors.
- Enforce building policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide first aid or CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of all individuals on the premises.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities for reporting purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement is highly desirable.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; additional training in conflict management and surveillance techniques is a plus.
- Familiarity with CCTV operations and monitoring systems is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
- A militarized background may be beneficial but is not required.
