Five Guys Property Maintenance (FGPM) is seeking a dependable and hardworking General Laborer / Field Hand to assist with landscaping, hardscaping, carpentry, and equipment-related work. This position supports multiple crews and job types and is essential to maintaining productivity, job quality, and safe job site operations.

Primary Responsibilities
Job Site Support
- Assist Equipment Operators, Outdoor Carpenters, and Landscapers with daily tasks
- Perform general labor duties including digging, grading, raking, shoveling, and cleanup
- Move, stage, and organize materials and tools
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Landscape & Construction Assistance
- Assist with:
- Spring and fall cleanups
- Mulching and flower bed installation
- Trimming and pruning bushes and ornamental trees
- Tree and plant installation
- Fence and deck construction support
- Hardscape base prep and material handling
- Use hand tools and basic power tools as required
Transportation & Logistics
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading trucks and trailers
- Operate company trucks or trailers when qualified and authorized
- Run materials or equipment between job sites as needed
Job Site Execution
- Follow directions from supervisors or lead personnel
- Maintain steady work pace and productivity
- Demonstrate attention to detail and quality standards
- Communicate job site needs or safety concerns promptly
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to work standing, kneeling, bending, or crouched for extended periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
General Duties
- Perform duties outside of this job description as needed to:
- Maintain full-time, year-round employment
- Support business operations
- Ensure consistent weekly pay
- Follow all FGPM safety policies, procedures, and job site protocols
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license preferred (required to operate company vehicles)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in landscaping, construction, or property maintenance
- Basic familiarity with hand and power tools
- Interest in developing skills in equipment operation, carpentry, or landscaping
- Experience operating trucks or towing trailers
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
