Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, technician repairs and rebuilds all hydraulic components: pumps, motors, valves, etc. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service and support.
Responsibilities
- Rebuilds pumps, valves, and cylinders as related to our business, per customer request using schematics and technical manuals.
- Tests and inspects hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, etc. to factory specifications.
- Uses measuring devices, calculators and myriad hand tools, torque tools and various other tools to service equipment
- Bench Test and certifies all equipment as required
- Manages used parts inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, and parts used.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in hydraulic technology to improve service efficiency.
- Works closely with Repair`s Coordinator to ensure efficient and accurate quoting and billing of repair & service work to include reports, filing, product research, customer interaction,
- Up-keep of tools, equipment, and facility maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Hydraulic repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with field service operations and customer interaction is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work independently while managing time effectively to meet customer needs.

Work Environment:
This job takes place in a shop setting, bench work.
Physical Demands:
· Occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Required Education & Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- Mechanics or industrial technology preferred
- 2 years’ experience in hydraulic repairs/rebuilds
- Ability to read Hydraulic schematics, diagrams, and technical charts
- Solid understanding of mechanical and hydraulic principles
- Mechanically inclined
- Basic math and science skills
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Planning and managing projects
- Professional and clear written and verbal skill
- Some MS Office experience
- Customer service
- Meeting deadlines and schedule restraints
