Duties
- Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and maintaining water clarity.
- Perform routine pool maintenance tasks such as checking chemical levels and adjusting pH balances to ensure optimal water quality.
- Inspect and troubleshoot pool equipment including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; perform repairs or coordinate repairs as needed.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty equipment efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of service visits, maintenance activities, and equipment status to ensure accurate documentation.
- Respond promptly to service calls for emergency repairs or urgent maintenance needs.
- Assist with the installation of new pool equipment and perform preventive maintenance to extend the lifespan of pool systems.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
- Prior experience as a service technician or in a similar pool maintenance role is preferred.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service appointments efficiently.
