Our team of lawyers aggressively handles matters and complex litigation on a wide spectrum of issues from space transportation to environmental and toxic tort matters, intellectual property, insurance/reinsurance, and commercial disputes of all kinds, bringing our many decades of experience to everything we do.
We are seeking a Certified Litigation Paralegal to join our firm and assist our attorneys in all phases of litigation, including case management, litigation support, document preparation, filings, and discovery. The ideal candidate is a certified paralegal with 3 years of experience in litigation, defense-side practice, and insurance claims. This role is based in our New York office on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office days every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

- Preparing pleadings
- Document review
- Legal research
- Calendaring
- Case tracking, managing, and organizing
- Deposition summarizing
- Medical record request and summarizing
- Medicare querying and reporting
- Court filing - ECF NY State and Federal; NJ a plus
- Updating databases with case details
What You Bring
Qualifications / Requirements of the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
- Paralegal Certificate and bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years paralegal experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as LexisNexis
- Knowledge of NY/NJ procedural rules
- Detail-orientated
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Legal calendaring experience
- Ability to work independently, but also be a team player

Salary range: $65k-$80k, commensurate with experience
