Work as a member of a Team which will perform Billeting Management, Room Assignments/Terminations Services, Facilities Sustainment Services, and Furnishing Manager Services in support of Fort Hunter Ligget Ca. billeting program
Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Physical ability to walk, inspect, and/or monitor rooms and barrack facilities and associated facilities
- Preferred least three (3) years of experience conducting daily, weekly, monthly, and/or annual inspections of base operation and living facilities. Inspection areas include, but are not necessarily limited to: lighting, plumbing, basic electrical, furniture condition, flooring issues, safety hazards, quality of life issues, and basic HVAC knowledge.
- Experience communicating findings inspection items to leadership chain in both written and oral fashion.
- Preferred at least one (1) year of experience processing Demand Maintenance Orders (DMOs) in a Department of Public Works setting (experience may be obtained in either military/government setting or a civilian/private industry setting so long as the experience is applicable to the scope of work within this PWS).
- Able to assist in the stocking of supplies and the inspection and light housekeeping of common areas.
- Will be required provide support with furniture inspections which includes the physical ability to lift, move, push, pull at least 50 pounds, physical ability walk up to approximately ½ mile, squat, bend, stand, and sit.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have at least a moderate level of computer literacy.
- Familiar Microsoft Office programs.
- Able to learn different software systems once trained on them.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- Valid state driver's license is required
- Proficient on reading and writing in English
- Must pass a background check conducted by the government
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years to obtain NACI and CAC Card eligibility.
