What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician position at fitness showrooms?
Fitness Equipment service technician wanted for commercial, corporate and residential customers.
Job entails service, maintenance and repair of exercise equipment in the CT area. This is for all of CT and possibly outside surrounding area when needed.
Will train right candidate but 3-5 years experience in mechanical/electric a plus,
Competitive salary, transportation and fuel/toll expense provided.

Ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, problem-solver, people-person, able to use hand tools. Must have great communication daily. Communication is used daily between office personnel and supervisors/bosses.
All our service technicians are responsible for accurately diagnosing service issues, communicating with all manufacturers to order parts under warranty, responsible for all of our clients from beginning to finish. Diagnosing, ordering parts, contacting the manufacturers to follow up on part orders until tracking information is received, etc. There is computer paper work involved daily as well.
