Fitness Machine Technicians
Fitness Machine Technicians is hiring Service Technicians to perform repair and preventive maintenance on fitness equipment for commercial and residential customers.
We service gyms, apartment buildings, hotels, country clubs, schools, corporate fitness centers, and private homes.
This is a field service position with daily local travel. Technicians are assigned service areas close to where they live.
We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy working independently and providing great customer service.
Pay
Competitive hourly wage depending on experience

Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain fitness equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, and strength machines
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Travel to customer locations daily
- Complete service reports using phone or tablet
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Recommend service or maintenance when equipment needs attention
- Maintain tools and company vehicle
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Experience with hand tools required
- Must have your own basic tools
- Experience in maintenance, HVAC, appliance repair, automotive, or similar field preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable talking with customers and recommending needed service when appropriate
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable with daily driving
Experience with fitness equipment is a plus but not required. Training provided.

- Westchester County NY
- Fairfield County CT
Technicians will be assigned territories near their home when possible.
