What You'll Do

As an Assistant Sales Manager, you will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for driving membership growth, developing top-performing sales professionals, and creating an outstanding experience for every member who walks through our doors.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive membership sales through consultations, facility tours, referrals, follow-up calls, and relationship building
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop sales counselors into high-performing professionals
• Coach team members on effective sales strategies, communication skills, objection resolution, and closing techniques
• Generate new business through phone outreach, text campaigns, community partnerships, networking, events, and local marketing initiatives
• Monitor individual and team performance while helping achieve monthly and annual club goals
• Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for members and guests
• Assist with daily club operations, including account maintenance, member support, and billing inquiries
• Organize and execute promotional events, member appreciation activities, contests, and community outreach efforts
• Support new program launches, club initiatives, and special sales campaigns
• Maintain a welcoming, professional, and high-energy club environment
• Partner with club leadership to increase member retention, improve operational performance, and maximize overall club success

Qualifications

• Previous sales and/or management experience preferred
• Fitness industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop others
• Goal-driven mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding performance targets
• Comfortable utilizing CRM systems, phone outreach, and follow-up strategies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Professional appearance with a positive, energetic attitude
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-focused environment
