The Nursing Student Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the Nursing Skills Lab and Simulation Center. This position provides hands-on assistance with simulation setup and breakdown, lab preparation, equipment maintenance, and other tasks that ensure a safe, organized, and effective learning environment for nursing students.
Job Requirements:
- Current enrollment in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
- Successful completion (or current enrollment) in at least one semester of clinical coursework.
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with technology used in simulation-based education.
- Willingness to learn equipment operation and simulation setup procedures.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time, non-benefited , student only position. Schedule varies up to 5 hrs/week, days and potentially some evenings. Hourly rate is $18.00.
