Vice President Operations

Fit Recruiting is partnering with a well-established, growth-oriented construction company to find a Vice President of Operations to join their executive leadership team. This is a high-impact role for a proven leader who can drive performance, develop talent, and execute projects with excellence.

This position will collaborate directly with executive leadership to oversee operations, align teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably — all while fostering a strong, accountable, and growth-minded culture. Salary up to $250K depending on experience, plus opportunities for company growth, benefits, and 401K.

Requirements:

• 15 years of construction leadership experience with increasing responsibility, specifically in commercial construction
• Proven ability to lead multiple teams or divisions and drive performance
• Strong financial acumen with a focus on margins, forecasting, and risk
• A strategic mindset with the ability to make sound, high-level decisions
• Deep operational knowledge of construction and project delivery
• A collaborative leadership style with excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to travel as needed

Responsibilities:

• Leading and developing teams with a people-first, servant leadership approach
• Driving operational excellence across project execution, safety, quality, and timelines
• Overseeing financial performance, including forecasting, margins, and risk management
• Strengthening processes and collaboration across operations, preconstruction, and business development
• Building strong client relationships and representing the company at a high level
