Fit Recruiting is seeking an experienced Estimating Administrator for an established industrial company in Mobile, Alabama.
This is a great opportunity for a highly organized administrative professional who thrives on meeting deadlines, attending to details, and keeping multiple projects moving. You'll work closely with the estimating team to coordinate incoming bids, manage documentation, track deadlines, and ensure quotes and required materials are submitted accurately and on time.
Duties:
- Coordinate incoming bid documents and drawings
- Track and manage incoming bid opportunities
- Work with the estimating team to keep submissions on schedule
- Prepare weekly estimating reports
- Submit quotes and customer-required documentation
- Maintain information in customer portals such as ISN and Avetta
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and travel
- Record meeting minutes
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
Requirements:
- 7 years of professional administrative experience
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- ERP or project management system experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with AutoCAD, ASME materials, weld processes or vessel construction is a plus
