Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of portable toilets using industrial cleaning equipment and environmentally friendly solutions
- Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy sanitation units and maneuvering equipment with proper technique to prevent injury
- Conduct routine inspections of units to identify repairs or replacements needed, ensuring all units are fully functional and sanitary
- Transport portable toilets between locations using appropriate vehicles, adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting and secure handling
- Use fire extinguishers correctly in case of emergencies, maintaining readiness at all times
- Maintain detailed logs of service activities, cleaning schedules, and safety checks to ensure compliance with health regulations
Experience
- Prior outdoor work experience or familiarity with industrial cleaning environments is highly desirable
- Experience with commercial cleaning tasks, including floor buffing and sanitation procedures
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques for heavy lifting to prevent injuries
- Comfort working outdoors in diverse weather conditions while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Basic understanding of fire safety procedures, including the use of fire extinguishers
