Role DescriptionFisher & Son is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to build and grow our presence in the Baltimore / Washington, DC market.
This role is focused on developing new business and establishing long-term customer relationships across lawn care, landscape, and commercial turf accounts. The position will lead with Kress Commercial equipment to introduce new customers and expand into full-service programs including fertilizer, seed, and plant protection products.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable managing a territory with a high level of independence and accountability.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and develop new business within the Baltimore / Washington, DC territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lawn care companies, landscape contractors, and commercial accounts
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and on-site customer visits
- Introduce and grow Kress Commercial equipment solutions
- Expand accounts into recurring programs (fertilizer, seed, and plant protection products)
- Manage territory activity, pipeline, and sales performance against goals
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability or strong desire to develop new business and grow accounts
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
- Turf, landscape, or green industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Competitive base salary ($85,000 – $120,000) plus commission and performance incentives
