Position Overview 

Fisher Management Partners is seeking an experienced Manager, ERP Consulting eager to apply their leadership skills, business acumen, and technology competencies towards creating value for our clients.  This self-directed team leader will hold themselves accountable for driving results in client engagements that are often complex. 


The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has led successful mid-market ERP implementations and is also a continuous learner, seeking feedback to ensure ongoing personal growth and deeper client relationships.  This professional will quickly adapt to situations and teams and can achieve results even in challenging circumstances.  If you have deep ERP project management experience and knowledge of related technologies, this could be the perfect role for you. 


Responsibilities 

  • Project Management: Apply management experience towards planning projects, building project teams, facilitating team progress, managing risks, overseeing financials, and applying effective project governance methods. 
  • Implementation Leadership: Lead both client and consulting teams through the seamless implementation of ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 
  • Business Integration: Efficiently analyze and gain a comprehensive understanding of each client’s strategies, business, processes, and systems landscape. 
  • Innovation / Facilitation: Utilize analytical expertise to unravel complex challenges, innovate, and navigate unforeseen challenges while guiding clients through informed decision-making processes. 
  • Deliverable Development: Develop detailed plans and polished management presentations as well as tactical project execution deliverables when needed. 
  • Team Collaboration: Foster collaborative project team culture and communicate effectively with diverse range of client and Fisher stakeholders. 
  • Software Proficiency: Stay current with advancement of software capabilities in the market to be able to effectively lead teams integrating them into client solutions. 
  • Marketing and Business Development: Engage in strategic business development initiatives as an integral part of the firm's growth. 
  • Organization: Independently prioritize and manage concurrent project and internal Fisher roles and responsibilities. 


Qualifications / Experience: 

  • Business: 5  years. 
  • ERP Planning, Management, and Execution 
  • Project Management: 3 years. 
  • ERP Solution Configuration: 2 years desirable. 
  • ERP Solutions Expertise: Oracle (NetSuite, Fusion Cloud), Infor, SAP, Epicor, Microsoft Dynamics, and other leading middle-market solutions. 
  • Big 4 Consulting: 5 years Big 4 service delivery is a key differentiator. 
  • Middle Market: Experience navigating complex initiatives in middle market and larger companies. 
  • Industry: Manufacturing and distribution industry experience is desirable. 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree. 


Skills: 

  • Management: Effective at planning and managing business system implementation projects and related initiatives such as software selections and systems assessments. 
  • Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of business processes and the ability to align solutions with client business goals. 
  • Leadership: Ability to lead both client and consulting team members on teams of varying size. 
  • Executive Presence: Demonstrated executive presence and the ability to influence both client and consulting team members. 
  • Relationships: Effective in establishing and maintaining lasting client relationships. 
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Interpersonal: Exceptional interpersonal abilities and conflict avoidance / resolution skills when needed. 
  • Growth and Innovation: Strategic perspective with a mindset of innovation and growth. 
  • Personal Development: Passion for continued personal growth and development. 


Work Location 

  • Home base: Preferred home base in Ohio, within a 3-hour drive of Columbus, Ohio. 
  • Travel: Flexibility to travel up to 40% to client locations.
