Responsibilities
- Head a profitable parts department, retail, internal, and wholesale customers
- Maintain a safe and enjoyable work environment
- Accomplish objectives with proper purchasing procedures and inventory control
- Work with the Service Manager to ensure parts are in-stock and/or ordered in a timely manner as needed for all scheduled repairs
- Effectively train and supervise parts counter associates to meet department and company goals, handle stock order procedures
- Keep up-to-date on manufacturer warranty, policy, and return procedures
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department
- Effective inventory control to reduce expenses
- Strong inter-department communication on back orders
- Maintain an inventory consistent with OEM requirements to maximize incentives
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing matrix
- Monitor and control computer software update
- Implement & carry out safety requirements and COVID protocols
- Exhibit behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors to maintain a solid reputation.
Qualifications
- 2 years of related experience in Parts Sales position preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Detail oriented and organized
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
