Job Description: The Talent Specialist will support organizational efforts to engage, develop, and retain employees by performing critical administrative tasks related to hiring, onboarding, and engaging employees. Qualifications: This person should have an associate’s degree and three years of relevant work experience, or the equivalent. Administrative experience in HR, onboarding, recruitment, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency with Workday or an HRIS systems is desired. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about delivering an exceptional new hire and employee experience. A proven record handling confidential information is required. Principal Responsibilities: 1. Manage multiple daily processes that begin once an employee is hired. Ensure that all onboarding tasks and critical documents are appropriately assigned and accurately completed in a timely manner. 2. Exhibit superior customer service by providing timely support and communication to multiple key stakeholders involved in the onboarding process. Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires and managers. Ensure all new employee and internal transfers/promotions are integrated smoothly and have a positive start. 3. Provide support for employee development programs, including mentoring, job shadowing, and career development & leadership programs. Includes assistance with communication, tracking, and reporting needs. 4. Support the planning and execution of organization-wide surveys, including survey preparation, communication, and organizing data for reporting. 5. Input various employee job changes in partnership with HR leadership. Maintain and edit job profiles and families. Maintain oversight of position management and the job description library. 6. Forge and maintain strong partnerships; particularly with HR, Technology, external vendors, and facility/security representatives. Partner heavily with recruitment team and provide additional assistance as needed. 7. Suggest and implement process improvements and efficiencies. Participate in special projects primarily related to onboarding, recruitment, talent management, and learning and development. 8. Assist talent management with various talent initiatives, performance management, strategic workforce planning, and maintaining departmental goals. 9. Aide the Learning & Development team with learning assignments, material preparation, learning system administration, and training logistics support. 10. Maintain accurate employee records and procedures for all areas of responsibility. 11. Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook. 12.
