Your Role

Sales Associates are an important part of the customer experience. You'll help shoppers feel comfortable in our showrooms, learn about their needs, and guide them toward products that are right for their homes.

Typical duties include:

• Greeting customers and assisting them throughout their showroom visit
• Becoming knowledgeable about our furniture, furnishings, appliances, and other merchandise
• Answering product and customer-service questions both in person and by phone
• Building lasting customer relationships and encouraging repeat business
• Keeping showroom areas clean, organized, and appealing
• Supporting sales promotions and staying informed about current products and offerings

What We're Looking For

We're interested in dependable, personable people who take pride in doing things the right way and providing customers with a positive experience.

Candidates should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability for scheduled weekday, evening, Saturday, and select holiday shifts
• A dependable work ethic and willingness to work toward sales objectives
• Basic math and communication skills
• Professional conduct and a commitment to honesty and integrity

Retail or sales experience is a plus, but not required. We provide hands-on training covering our merchandise, sales approach, and customer-service standards.

Compensation & Income Opportunity

Your earnings are made up of hourly pay, commissions, and performance-based bonuses. Sales Associates who perform at national average levels have the opportunity to earn $50,000 or more per year.

Schedule

Our showrooms are open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Most shifts are eight hours or longer, and employees generally have two days off each week. Sunday is always a scheduled day off.

Depending on business and scheduling needs, this position may be offered as either full-time or part-time.

From time to time, employees may be asked to provide coverage at another Fischer location.
