About the team

We are part of Corporate Treasury, and we oversee the processing of ACH and wire payments for FIS. We process and monitor payments for FIS on a 24/7 basis via personnel and automation. We work to ensure that all payments are processed and settled on time to meet our corporate obligations for our clients and ourselves. Our platform supports these specific functions and to grow as needed to support new lines of business.

What you will be doing

You will be working with a Senior Programming Analyst to develop your understanding of the platform and the networking environmental configuration of the system. You will be involved with the system’s development and support while working closely with the business unit.

· Obtain a full understanding of the existing databases, applications, and programs by participating in all research, support, and new development requests.

· Formulate complex SQL commands to assist with various research or statistical data collection (ver. Oracle 19c).

· Assist with identifying, supporting, and resolving PLSQL code issues.

· Develop new and support existing UNIX korn shell scripts.

· Evaluate existing processes for improvements or automation.

· Learning Automated Clearing House (ACH) specifications and uses, along with other industry payment types.

What you bring

· Proficient with PLSQL. (Oracle 19c)

· Proficient with UNIX korn shell scripting.

· Understands Oracle Stored Procedures.

· Serve as a technical liaison between our department and IT (DBA, Networking, IT Analysts, etc.)

· Proficient with Networking Connections (Protocols, Nodes, IP Addresses, Ports, DNS, etc.)

· Proficient with various File Transmission Protocols for SCP, SSH, and SSL.

Bonus if you have

· Java programming skills.

· General Banking Payment Knowledge. (ACH and Wire Transfers)

· Experience with evaluating processes for Artificial Intelligence.
